Matt Watts trained at Keith Johnstone’s International Improvisation school in Calgary, Canada.
He was a regular performer on London’s stand-up comedy circuit before joining Dalton Trumbo’s Reluctant Cabaret, winning the BBC New Comedy Award.
As an improviser he has toured the USA and Canada, representing Great Britain in international improvisation tournaments. In the UK he has improvised alongside Jonathan Pryce, Tony Slattery, Richard Vranch and Neil Mullarkey.
He has appeared on television in various stand-up comedy shows, and on BBC3 and E4 with Dalton Trumbo’s Reluctant Cabaret.
Over the past ten years Matt has performed at many high-profile corporate events including the product launch for the game ‘Hotel Dusk’ for Nintendo DS, BP and Sky TV as well as presenting Humorous Histories at many stately homes throughout the south-east.
